MULTIPLEX PROFI CAR – the standard for RC cars
The tailor-made cockpit of a racing car constantly supplies the
driver with all the essential information without distracting him.
In the same way, the transmitter should support the model car
driver without sidetracking him.
The PROFI CAR transmitter’s unique shape was developed in
order to conform to the natural movements and processes of the
human hands.
Particular emphasis was placed on optimum positioning of the
controls. The transmitter controls and trims can be located “blind”,
as they are exactly where you expect them to be.
The combination of very low weight and optimum balance makes
an important contribution to relaxed, fatigue-free, pleasurable
driving.
The screen is angled towards the eyes, so you can pick up information
from it lightning-fast.
On-screen messages and audible warnings alert the driver to
important items of information, such as the neutral or maximum
trim position, timer information and battery alarm.

• Maximum fi ve channels for model racing cars

A unique feature for a pistol-grip transmitter is the ability to transmit more than three channels. The PROFI CAR 707 enables
you to operate 1 : 5 scale cars with two independently variable steering servos and separate front and rear brake servos.


• Maximum seven channels for multi-function model vehicles

The PROFI CAR 403 and 707 transmitters are ideal for multifunction models with steering, throttle / brake and fi ve additional functions.


• FM / AM switching

If you are using the PROFI CAR crystal RF module (# 4 5685) the transmission mode can be switched to AM in a special menu. This allows the transmitter to be used with many simple
AM receivers.


• Convenient timer program

The following modes of operation are available for the timer:

• lap counter

• lap counter + lap times

• lap counter + lap times + race duration

• training aid

The timer can generate audible warnings during a run for differences (faster / slower) between the ACTUAL lap time and
the INTENDED lap time. The transmitter can store times for up to 50 laps, and the times can be called up again after the run.


• Traction control

Prevents wheel spin, promoting perfectly controlled acceleration.


• Auto Dual Rate

This feature provides a proportional linear reduction in steering sensitivity with increasing speed, i.e. varying according to throttle setting. The extent of the travel reduction can be adjusted,
and a time delay can also be set.


• Automatic start

This feature optimises the start phase, and starts the timer when the throttle trigger is advanced.


• ABS (Advanced Braking System)

The software provides four-stage variable ABS, giving a pulsed braking effect. This reduces the danger of wheel lock, avoiding loss of control of the vehicle through turns. It is also possible
to activate ABS selectively according to the steering setting, so that ABS only affects braking when you move the steering wheel away from centre; if the steering is left alone, maximum
braking effect remains available.


• Variable trigger deadband
Prevents the throttle or brake responding accidentally every time you brush the trigger.


• Battery alarm
Audible alarm, variable alarm voltage threshold.


• Diagnosis mode

For carrying out adjustments and maintenance on the model without transmitting an RF signal.The transmitter and receiver are connected directly using the Diagnosis adaptor, # 8 5110.
